The Collective Calm
There is one way of breathing that is shameful and constricted.
Then, there’s another way: a breath of love that takes you all the way to infinity. – Rumi
Breathing impacts your bodies respiratory, cardiovascular, neurological, gastrointestinal, muscular, and psychic systems. It is known to also have a general effect on your sleep, memory, ability to concentrate, and your energy levels. So when you feel a lack of energy, or the feeling of being tired after you have slept the night, it is the breath that we seek the answers from.
How we breathe is a vital component to stimulate the energy in your body. When you are not consciously breathing to preserve Prana energy, you start to rely on the reserves of your adrenal glands depleting the stores of adrenaline.
Utilising breathing techniques enables us to reduce stress and normalise our adrenaline and cortisol levels. This allows the adrenal glands time for much-needed regeneration.
When we understand the benefits of breathing and take the time to reset our breathing patterns there is a collective calm that descends upon your home and your work space.
You share the energy you have created with those around you and by teaching them the benefits of doing the same, the collective calm expands and creates the space for you to have a more peaceful experience.
